Raoul Dufy
Raoul Dufy was born at Le Havre, in Normandy, and began his art studies when he was 18 at Le Havre École des Beaux-Arts.
Influences of impressionistic landscapes and cubism led in 1920 to Dufy's distinctive approach involving skeletal structures, arranged in a diminished perspective, and the use of light washes of colour put on by swift brush strokes in a manner that came to be known as stenographic.
Dufy's cheerful oils and watercolours depict yachting scenes and sparkling views of the French Riviera. His work has been described as optimistic and fashionably decorative.

Tiphanie Beeke
Tiphanie Beeke is particularly known for her beautifully atmospheric watercolour artwork. She graduated with a Masters from the Royal College of Art in London and has since specialized in children's books, though her work can also be seen on greeting cards, gift wrap, textile designs and children's wallpaper borders for clients such as Laura Ashley.

Louise Fox
A frequent visitor to coastal areas including Porthleven, Portland and the wonderful Whitstable, Louise Fox is inspired by the rich images of the English Seaside. Her colourful paintings are about the characters of the boats, birds and buildings. Often telling a story they have a fresh feel, full of fun and activity and convey the movement and rhythm of the sea. "I love to paint things that are fun, colourful and bring a smile."
